Sometimes when you’re feeling down or crabby. All you need is a hug! I have been really unwell today so thought I would do a random little blog. So, hugging! It can be all that is needed to cheer you up, make you feel better and know that there’s someone there for you. From now until the end of the year, try and hug whoever you might wish to lol.
Defination of a hug: A hug is a form of physical intimacy, not necessarily sexual, that usually involves closing or holding the arms around another person or group of persons. The hug is one of the most common human signs of love and affection, along with kissing. Unlike some other forms of physical intimacy, it is practiced publicly and privately without stigma in many countries, religions and cultures, within families, and also across age and gender lines.
Did you know there is a National Hugging Day that takes place on the 21st January every year!?!?
Other things to make you happy: Compliment someone (Karma will come back to you!) Smile! Be creative! Think up new ideas and projects! Cook some cupcakes! Read a book! Get in contact with a old friend and have a ctach up! Throw a party, just tell people to bring a bottle and VOILA! Watch a soppy film! Go out for a meal with all of your friends! Make cocktails! Take your dog for a walk! Have a picnic! Book a holiday! Make a list of things you want to do in the next year and tick them off as you do them!
I have been reading “Marilyn Monroe” by Barbara Leaming and I must say I am loving it! It is basically a book based on her life and what she went through to become the star that she was. I am currently up to her divorce between herself and Joe DiMaggio, which came about because of the famous white dress blowing up photographs and the fact Men were looking at her!
