When was the last time you did something for the first time?

So, a little while ago (last week in fact) I said that I was going to said a new feature on my blog. After lots and lots of thoughts, I was still struggling to think of something that would be interesting for me to do and you to all read – Until I found this…

My pledge for 2013 is to do as many ‘new’ things as possible. Now, it doesn’t have to be big gestures or even things that are considered big, but just things that are new to me – it might be a film, a place, a website, a blog, a song, a recipe. Whatever. But I think it will be fun to share with you guys and you can comment what you have done or where you have been, and hopefully, we will all get to do a lot more in 2013. It’s quite exciting, and although I don’t know what the new things will be yet, I’m looking forward to seeing what they are.

What are your pledges for 2013? Feel free to join me in taking as many ‘new’ experiences as possible this year. Write then down, and then at the end of the year, you can look and see all the new places you’ve been, things you’ve seen and people you’ve met.

I’m quite excited about this, but am still struggling to think of a name that I can kind of categorise all of my posts into. Any suggestions?

Peace and love, Polly May xx

  1. What a lovely idea! I always enjoy trying new things and going new places. A couple of years ago I made the pledge to ‘never say no to an opportunity’ and last year alone I became an editor for the uni paper, started my blog, learnt to knit and crochet and wrote a novel! If you really open up to anything you stumble across opportunities that you never thought you would have! All the best for your 2013 mission! I can’t wait to see what fantastic things you do! xx

  2. This is such a good idea, and the fact that you’re going to make it a little blog series means that’ll help you keep on track! No idea about names though, but good luck!! :) xx
