If you don’t love her, you’re not human.
My envy of this woman is probably shared with majority of the world’s female population. Being an amazing performer, Beyonce really is the Queen of music. After having her baby, Blue Ivy Knowles-Carter, last year she has decided to make her comeback here in the summer with her Mrs Carter Tour. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get tickets for this, however I have got tickets for V festival in August where she is set to headline the main stage. I cannot explain how excited I am – if it’s anything like her perfomance at Glastonbury – it’s going to be AMAZING!! I just love her, and I have to say I would absolutely kill for her gorgeous curly hair – One day.
She has her new song out, called ‘Bow Down’, which I will admit, I am still in two minds about, but she is still amazing! She has also been confirmed as the new face of H&M, coming out with her own range of clothes and modelling them for all of us to believe we could ever possibly look like her! Haha! She is one very busy Bey indeed.
Beyonce also made a documentary titled: ‘Life is but a dream’, which premiered on HBO earlier in February in the States. However, after doing some searching on the web, I am so excited to say that it will be aired on BBC One on the 28th March at 10:35pm!! It is said to be focussed on her personal life including the birth of Blue Ivy, her marriage to Jay Z (Jealous much?) and her public split from her manager and father, Matthew Knowles.
It had mixed reviews over in the States, but that didn’t stop it being the most watched documentary ever on HBO! It should be a good one, and let’s admit it, it’s just another excuse to turn slightly green and have to cope with the fact that we are not Beyonce Knowles-Carter.
Peace and love, Polly May xx
