Grown Ups 2: Review

grown upsThe Gang.

On Wednesday, (after picking up my dissertation and leaving University for the last ever time! WOOP!), I went to the cinema to see ‘Grown Ups 2’. I saw the first film when it came out at the cinema and later bought it on DVD because it made me laugh so much.

Plot Summary (taken from IMDb):

After having the greatest time of his life three summers ago, Lenny (Adam Sandler), decides he wants to move his family back to his hometown and have them grow up with his gang of childhood friends and their kids. But between old bullies, new bullies, schizophrenic bus drivers, drunk cops on skis, psycho grade school girlfriends and 400 costumed party crashes he finds out that sometimes crazy follows you.

An unusual thing was that I actually really, really loved it; Maybe even as much as the first. It was hilarious and with a packed out cinema, I had to stop myself laughing out loud. I loved that all the children from the first one were in this one too as it made it so much easier to follow. I hate it when number two comes out and all the characters are played by different people. (I also hate it in soaps when so-and-so goes ‘on holiday’ and comes back a completely different person haha!) Anyway, it was so good and you should definitely go and see it, if you’re in need of a giggle.

Peace and love, Polly May xx
